2009 jeep liberty brake light wiring diagram

i have a 2009 jeep liberty. the bottom brake lights don't work but the third brake light does. I bought a Haynes repair manual so i could trouble shoot. the actual color wiring on my liberty does not match the Haynes wire colors . where can i get the actual diagram ?

Buy the manual, hard copy, for well over $100. Its quite the multi-page affair. You may be able to see a page or three for free on an online side.

Or buy the CD-ROM manual WITH wiring diagram (double check this with the ventdor). BUT- you need to run a small batch program to use it on a Win11 computer.

the batch file is called IE.vbs and has the following one line of code:
CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application").Visible=true

you could likely also type this at a command line prompt

These free factory service manuals include wiring diagrams. The 2008 and 2011 are both here. Your 2009 is probably closer to the 2008 but may have a few minor differences.
