I'm trying to replace my PCV but the rubber tube that connects to the back end of it isn't budging at all...is it normal for it to be pretty tight? I didn't want to go too ******* it in fear of breaking the plastic tubing that the rubber one connects too.

Yup. I ended up breaking the pcv just to replace it and get it off the hose. Heating up the hose might allow it to expand for removal.

Mine was darn near welded on.
I used a hot hairdryer up close and personal, got a small screwdriver inbetween plastic & hose to pry it open a bit while holding the pcv, so nothing would snap.
That got that hose open/sliding & off.

Yeah, yours is an 05 like mine with the pcv on the oil fill tube. I change mine every year (**** I know...). It helps if the engine is warm and it twists off easier like Tom said. The first time I changed mine I broke the plastic pcv in half trying to twist it off.....LOL No problem since that little mishap the first time.

Heating the engine up made a huge difference...2 minutes and done. Didn't even break the old one.

Broke on me trying to get the one out of the 04...finding a replacement on short notice wasn't fun.
