Measuring wrong
Really. Educate me then... Measure from backside of hub mounting surface to straight edge sitting on the outside edge of the wheel lip. Right?

That measures 5 3/4”. Subtract the wheel lip (1/2”) and you get 5 1/4”.

you measure where the bead sits down next to rim surface
been selling and dealing with aftermarket wheels since the early 1970s, always that way

That's why I subtracted the wheel lip (1/2") to get to the wheel bead. And actually everyone seems to measure out to the edge of the wheel lip, except you. Just google it.

Anyways, it's really for other people's benefit because I'm not changing the offset on my rig. I was just trying to be a contributor.
