Ive tried searching for answers and the way search engines work nowdays, i have zero results.

this will be an easy question for those who know more about wheel stud sizes.

so i finally got around to rebuilding my entire suspension on my 03. it was a worn out mess. installed a frankenlift and Als upper control arms ive had saved for years.

I know that our factory wheel studs are 1/2 x 20. I need to press in longer studs to keep tire from rubbing new upper control arm. Im cleared if i use a 1/4" spacer behind the wheel but im now only getting 4 turns on the lug nut vs 9, which isnt safe.

i need to extend the factory studs by 1/4" to get back where i need to be. what size do i need to search for?

i could just get slightly skinnier tires but i dont have the funds to make that happen as of now. this is my daily and need it back on the road asap.

thanks all

Some aftermarket hubs have shorter studs than stock. I think I figured out WJ studs are 1/4" longer than KJ and fit the same.

I ended up adding Spydertrax 1.5" 5 on 4.5 Jeep Wheel spacers #WHSO20 bought from Rocky Road Outfitters. Still had to modify the fender lining to fit.
