New to Jeeps, Fiancé's New KK

So Today we pick up my Fiancé her first jeep, a 2012 Liberty Jet limited, leather, heated seats, power, nav, sunroof, everything loaded. with 60k miles. We both have been major subaru people and I have an 03 forester 5 speed with AT tires, 1" lift, and some other small goodies. I joined here to learn about jeeps so I can do all the work on her car for her.

She only plans on doing a few upgrades in the future.

Retrofitted HID headlights (I do retrofits)
Black Nerf Bars
Weathertech Mats
Matching Front Window Tint

Sounds like you have a few things planned although I wouldn't waste money on the nerf bars and hate retrofitted HIDs but its yours so good luck :headbang:

I'll bet the Subaru rides better than that Jet with the 20" wheels!
I've got a 2012 Jet with 5000 miles on it - only complaint is the rough ride and only 15 - 15.5 MPG.

Ride is mostly due to the large rims. Drop to 16s and see how much better it gets. Anything smaller than the 20s will help lol.

As for mileage, yep ***** in that department too. What kind of driving are you/she doing? When stock my mostly highway commute and city driving used to net me around 16, sometimes better at 17mpg. Best I've seen was about 22mpg with pure interstate. Worst was about 12mpg with pure city driving in the winter.
