Yesterday I changed my cv joints on my front driveshaft, my wheel bearings, lower ball joints, upper ball joints, and tie rod ends because of a whooping sound that developed while driving... Now it feels a lot more solid and stable ... tracks straight and true... and handles much much better than before but has developed a louder whooping sound... And a shudder over 70mph...sounds and feels like a helicopter taking off!! Needless to say it was a bitter sweet victory...

So I'm thinking its probably the intermediate shaft on the passenger side cv... Or maybe I botched something up rebuilding that driveshaft... What do you guys think??

Forgot to mention that Over the last 6 months I've changed the engine and trans mounts as well as all the suspension bushings in the front and rear...

With that sound its highly likely thats your problem ( the intermediate shaft/CV) yes change both if the shaft is bad

Could this adversely affect my tires? Or the new bearings I just installed?

I gotta get this squared away! That shuddering feeling / noise is pretty bad... Sounds and feels like my wheels are Egged!! And both were perfectly balanced out to all 0's after the work was done! :(
