Personally I would have left it black to match the trim... just my opinion. :D

Try getting some better shots of it in the daylight, it might look better in natural light. The second color is waaaay better than the first though.

My trim is gray though. headscratch.gif

Yeah that color blue is way better. It looks good. I like it.

Off topic...how are those Bighorns holding up? How many miles have you got on them?

Looks way better.

I don't think an expert could perfectly match them much better. Its really hard to get paint colors to match when using different surfaces, (Plastic/Metal) but it looks so much better.

Nice. I would hate to think about the last few years without having mine. Looks good, just like my factory one. Good job.

We had our hitch installed, again, due to the fact
that I'm a gimp!
Non the less, the two guys that installed it got rained
on with 20 pounds of dried mud and rocks when they
were under the rear of the vehicle!
The one installer asked me if I had intentionally gone
out 4X4'ing right before coming in for the hitch!
Then commented that "At least you take your Jeep off road
unlike all the other KJ's we do work on. Right on man!"
Then went on calling most jeep owners that come in are
posers!:D:D:D

Cheers
Ry'

BTW, I like the colour matched light bar. Sets it apart from the rest.

Hi Midnight

I don't want to rain on your project, but I've heard that Kilby have discontinued production of the tank skid for the KJ - which is a bit of a pain, as I'd thought to get one myself:( I believe that Skid Row still do them though.

I found summit racing had the silver Soft 8's (399-7712) for $59.95 each. Grand total of $311 for 5. Shipped.

Gonna have to do it.

Here is roughly how it will look.

A few more pix. The tires looks tiny and low profile now. Guess I gotta get 32's to make everything look right.
