I have an '04 Liberty Limited 2WD. At the moment it is stock, but I have several upgrades in the pipeline. (exhaust, intake, fuel system, headers, suspension, etc.)

I have been trying to figure out which MSD controller would work best for this application. Any suggestions?

Your stock coils are plenty for the application. Accel and MSD make aftermarket coil upgrades for the hemis (not worth the cost IMO) but not for the 3.7/4.7 family. Pretty much a forgotten engine.

Of the 5 areas that you said you want to upgrade, really only one of them is worth it. Suspension.

The stock ignition coils will do just fine. The only time I found it necessary to upgrade any ignition system was when I put a turbocharger on my 94 Ford Escort (using the factory turbo from the '84 Escort GT 1.6). I installed an MSD coil pack and wires, and good copper plugs.
