leak HELP!

I have a leak, it is leaking onto my exhaust and making white smoke and a burnt rubber smell. It appears like grease coming from around my transmission. Transmission fluid level is fine. Coolant and Oil level are fine. I can see a leak coming from where the drive shaft from the transfer case meets the front diff. But I don't think its the same leak. Anybody know where the leak might be coming from?

That would be the pinion seal, and mine is leaking in that same spot.. Check the fluid level in the front diff.

Not sure where grease could be coming from around the ******..

Check the power steering fluid.. see if its low..

What would it take to change the pinion seal? About how much will it cost me if I replace it myself? Is there a clicking sound when you are in 4wd?
