Thinking, see the smoke coming out of my ears, can straps be positioned to pull back and out, then wedle legs with screwdriver-small pry bar,a pair of tools would be best.
How narrow is clevis,I am thinking off just a hair?

kj weston, I have been gone for a while and haven' been on to read this. If you have not solved your problem yet, which you probably have, just trim the bushings in the lower control arm mounts. I have done that for a few guy's around here. A cut off blade works very good. I hope you have it figured out by now but I saw this and thought I might jump in.

ha yeah I ended up getting it with a couple friends and just muscling it on there. the whole bending forged steel isn't anything easy.. I was thinking of trimming that but it was gonna be last resort. Thanks anyways Tom

Cheers, Chase

Trimmed the bushings???? Why would you have to do that?
Plus the clevis is suppose to sit on part of the bushing. After installing Rustys, OME's , Frankenlifts, etc never had to trim any bushings to do an install.
