KJ Blend door actuator and AC light ??

I have a 2006 Liberty CRD that won't **** hot or cold. I believe the blend door actuator needs replaced.... ?
Also the little light on the AC button does not light.
Does anyone have some good instructions on dash removal - or better yet some shortcuts? better diagnostics would help me too. any tips are appreciated.

search up a heater core / evap core r&r thread on here.

It is not hard - but it is time consuming.

before tearing into it, why not check both systems.

i know this sounds childish but - is the heater core even connected? If this is a new to you jeep, many temporarily shunted the coolant path to delay putting in a new heater core. Look under the hood and see. It is on the right side of the truck - in under the coolant tank.

does the fan in the cabin run?

post up some details of how far you have gone so as to not waste your time.
