Whats the best way for me to locate the right key for my spline lugs?

And where is the best place to get a key?

Thanks

Should have a tag that came with the special lugnuts with a address and code to buy more.If not your most likely SOL and have to replace them with new ones.If there the Gorrilla type splined lugnuts just go to a Discount Tires as they should have them there and they all are the same anyways.

That is just a regular locking lugnut. If you do not have the key code you have to use a damaged lugnut remover to remove and install a regular lugnut. Many shops will do this for a small charge,I do at least one set a week at work and they charge like $20 if you supply the new lugnuts or $30+ if we have to supply them.

Can't I just twist them off with a pipe wrench, vise grips or channel locks?

you can get a 12-point socket that is a tad bit too small and hammer it on. Then use the ratchet and back the lock off, I have done this probably 20 times.

Good luck with that.

Yeah I believe a 3/4"(1/2" drive) 12 point deepwell works the best on the ones for a KJ.

A set of the removers in the link below works very well, what I use at work,I have about 8 different sets to remove anything from 4mm-38mm bolts/nuts.

Yeah pricey but I require the better ones as they do get used often and the warranty makes it worth it for me.
