I just got my OME med. springs and shocks/struts today along with Al's A-arms.
The boots on the balljoints (Moog, made in Tawain) do not have any kind of retaining clips/springs on the ball end. They don't look like they would seal very well just pushing against the body of the ball joint. Are they all like this?
I don't have the blue spacer that fits between the boot and the steering knuckle shown in the pdf installation instructions on his website, was this only used on the earlier generations? I have the gen 4.5 for lifted 02-07 KJ's.
I have seen here on the forum something about leaving out the dust covers on the struts or shocks, what's this about?
