I checked PA in the liftlaws link... no mention of wheel spacers/adapters.

I checked my own province's Act(Motor Vehicle Act Regulations)
There's a tire/wheel section, but no spacer/adapter info.

Inspection guidelines aren't the easiest to find....

Go to the actual state motor vehicle site
Its there, where do you think I got it at , ...............
Besides , why are we even discussing spacers, adapters etc
Buy or use the correct spaced wheels and be done with it

Its in the thread title.... discussion is for the benefit of others, that don't fall under PA's rules.

Not a Jeep, but,,,,

Two weeks ago we had a kid come in the shop with his (98ish) Silverado 4X4 and a set of quality appearing spacers. We told him we didn't recommend their use, told his (single momma) we didn't recommend them, told them they should be retorqued frequently after installation, etc. They STILL wanted them installed, so we installed them. Next day pulled wheels and retorqued. Last week he borrowed a torque wrench (I've known the family for years) and retorqued them himself. Three days later right front was making "funny sounds". Spacer was loose and one factory lug sheared.

But what do I know???

So blame the new spacer for an old/weak stud and a questionable torque wrench operator?

Well, I'd bet my **** against nine green walnuts there'd never been an issue WITHOUT spacers,,,,,

How old/stretched were the studs? The two studs that broke on my vehicles did not involve spacers at all...
