If you did your lift the UCA's are at about a 1,just make sure the engine is cold and you have a impact swivel(ball type) for the back bolt on each side.Takes me about 30mins per side to R&I the UCA's.

Very easy to do, but yes need a swivel for sure and a extension for the rear bolt drivers side.
Passenger side os a piece of cake. Don't even rea;y need an extension for that side but it helps. Takes longer to jack it up and throw jack stands under it than to do the arms almost.
When you torque them down, tighten then good then drop it down on the tires and check the bolts again. It will sit up higher but will drop some after driving a few miles

you don't have any tools? Anyone should have some extensions, ball swivel is not that much or could even "get by" with a regular cheap swivel from Harbor Freight or some where if you have to, only need it for one bolt really. Worst case you could change them out with a crescent wrench almost , well except for that drivers side rear. would take a while but just saying........

If you installed your lift yourself you probably have all the tools you need, except for the swivel. ONLY 17, don't let your age hinder you, when I was 17 I built a real hot 289 and put it in my 6 cyl 67 mustang only because my old man didnt think I could do it. I think he was just trying to light a fire under my a..

Dealer here said $900.00 to replace both UCA and alignment. Is alignment neccessary? Has anyone else seen how my busings are pushed out at 94K? I'd like to take care of this myself as well..

If you are putting stock control arms back in and not touching anything else you might be able to get away without doing an alignment since the adjustments are done on the lower control arms. I'd offer you mine for replacements but they have more miles on them than yours do...

Thanks for the offer/tips. Indeed $900 is Nuts! Just checked dealer price @ almost $270 a side. Looks like another DIY day when $$ are ready for JBA.

OK if you are planning on going to JBA arms then you will need an alignment. Once you put the aftermarket arms on you will have quite a bit of positive camber - you're front end will look like an old VW bug with the engine out, like this >> \\----//

$900 is not unreasonable for OEM parts and installed,$270 x2 = $540 in parts, book time is probably about 1 per side at say $125 per hour shop rate so that's $250 and then add $540 in parts = $790,the the final $110 is for the alignment.Does not look like any ripping off at all, just OEM parts are going to be more expensive(in most cases) but you get a 12 month/12,000mile warranty on parts and labor which is worth the extra cost since most shops offer no warranty or only part cost warranty(no labor covered) if your lucky.
