Agreed. I'm actually pleasantly surprised. I didn't think I would like it this much. But I still prefer the design of the current 02-07 models. But the new Libby will definitely be on my list when I purchase a new car next year.

By the way, where did you get these pics? I can't seem to find any other sites that have pics of the new 2008 Liberty.

Also, does the air box omit the snorkle that we have on the 3.7? I doesn't seem to have one that sits hood level to suck in the air as our 3.7L has.

I have one comment. It is sort of like a Nitro, mechanically I'd say vice-versa, the other day I was driving behind a Nitro on the freeway, it went over some large bumps. I could see the fuel tank moving up and down, or the body was moving up and down, exposing the fuel tank. With a skid, not a problem. Without, I wouldn't take it off road, ever....

Looks ok, better than i thought, but still to close to a nitro.

And lord help you if you need to work on that engine. That engine bay is packed.
