I wonder if these are any good?

apparently halogen bulbs only have 200 hours of use in them, according to Road Shock lol

Some Halogen bulbs have notoriously low life.

We have $400 projector bulbs whose lifetimes are measured at only a few hundred hours. I won't speak for the halogens in other offroad lamps, but it's not unheard of.

I take it they are sold in a kit with the ballasts? Seems kinda cheap for that type of light, thought they were 4-600 bucks a pair?

They look good though.

Stay the F**K away from anything Harbor Freight! The cheap pricks at my work get stuff there and they are definately "disposable" products. Every tool we ever bought from there broke within the first use. We got some trailer tail lites that never worked. There is a reason they are so cheap. Just my advice. We see a lot of awesome sales and cool looking products in there, but they never last.

We have Princess Auto here in Canada, and the stuff they have in there sometimes is a bit sketchy. Some things are real good, but other off brand things...well I wouldn't buy it because I know it won't last.

To answer you question on those lamps, yes, they come with a ballast.
No wiring or switch, but for $80.00, I'm sure my friend can deal with that!
He will more than likely drive up to my house so I can install them!

As far as crap merchandise from Harbor Freight...
Sure, unless it is a name brand.

Princess Auto?

They sell alot of name brand products under their own name.
And they are good.
I bought L.E.D. trailer marker lights made in the U.S.A. Regular price was $8.99, I bought them on sale for $1.99 clear out price.
Everywhere else in town the regular price was $18.00 to $22.00 each. For the same U.S. made product!
I bought 8 sets of "Optilux by Hella/Pilot/Blazer fog light kits at Princess Auto

Brand new in box $13.99 per pair

Canadian Tire wants upwards of $89.99 per pair for the same lights!
I sold 6 sets for for $60.00 per pair!

You just have to know what you are buying is all!

But you are right Derrick, some crap they sell should of never
been allowed in the country!:D

I felt that way as soon as I walked in the store but I will say, my torque wrench has been reliable over the 4 years I've had it. :)
