Hood Prop Rod

Hi - Hoping someone here can help me out.

Popped the hood on my '08 yesterday, and when I went to stand up the prop rod, it came right off in my hand. Now, for the life of me, I cannot find where the bottom end of the rod is supposed to be attached. Google images were no help.

I was hoping maybe someone could snap a quick photo of the attachment point for me, as I'm pretty well baffled.
