Heat Went Out

For some reason my heat just stopped working. I have coolant and the fan works at all speeds but just no heat whatsoever. I hope its not a heater core.... Anybody have an idea?

Mine did that when I had a crack in the radiator

it could be a blower control resistor

He said the fan works. I would look at the heat control valve.

Have a look at that post...it may be relevant to your problem.

Failing water pump, or radiator would be my guesses.

Turn the heat knob towards the red area. Other wise the blend door is electric.arty52:

could be your temperature controls are stuck. a vacuum or cable operated flapper that closes off the heater core when a/c is in use, or allows cool outside air in. it is under the dash where the air comes out by the passengers feet, sometimes you can move the levers by hand if the cables are stuck
