Handbreke jeep liberty kk 2008

Hi, guten Nachmittag
lebe in Deutschland und
fahre einen 3,7 l 205 PS
jeep liberty kk Baujahr 2008.
habe ein problem mit meiner handbremse.
Die Hebelwirkung ist zu kurz und die Zähne des Handbremshebels greifen nicht ein. hatte das gefühl das die zähne abgenutzt sind aber nach blick ins i net hatte der vorgänger bis 2007 auch probleme mit dem handbremshebel.
kennt jemand das problem mit der liberty kk 2008.
über einen tip würde ich mich sehr freuen.

Guten Morgen,
The hand brake works on spring tension to engage it which is a bad design. You can find videos showing ways to tighten it but none of them worked for my daughters 2011 Liberty. I finally just replaced the hand brake assembly and problem was solved. I wish I had done that in the first place and saved all the headaches trying to adjust it.
