Would a guide for changing the thermostat as well as bleeding the system and changing the oil be useful for our forum? Typically for new users who just got their Libby and never done it before. Changing my tstat on an engine with only 3300 miles and the temp goes down on the highway so it's definitely stuck open. Changing with MOPAR tstat. Assuming shop put in aftermarket

The "How To" section is located here Link:How To - Jeep Liberty Forum - JeepKJ Country
Actually, I do not see any recent "Thermostat Replacement" .. so have at it!
Make it comprehensive with good pics !
Are you replacing the lower rad hose as well? Include it if you are.
You can reference (or steal diagrams) from Our thread here as well Link: http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/f196/thermostat-specifications-jeep-liberty-kj-3-7-a-56107/

That would be great! Can't have too many how to's.

Wish I would've made one for the lower radiator hose. I had to cut mine out.

Sure will. I did the swap to the Mopar one and it is perfect! Just curious if someone could tell me where the coolant level should be when cold (take your cap off and show me the level after sitting after night if you could)
I'll take pictures also. Wish I would've seen the replies before I did it but I didn't have any free time other than what I had Friday after work. I'll figure something out! Also, my coolant level after sitting overnight appears to be at the cold fill line. Heat is damn hot btw

Oh! Thought I should mention, took out the thermostat the engine place installed and it wasn't even open. However, I heated up the thermostat with a torch and the spring catches on the side posts. Thought that was very peculiar. But this new Mopar one works great. If I went over 60mph (100kmh) on the old one, temp would go down. Popped the new bad boy in and she held at half doing 85 ;)
