Good scanner

Hi,
I found a good, inexpensive scanner that works with my old 2003 KJ.

Does it see the TPMS? I'd love to turn off the light on my dash.

Also, I have the Ediag Elite and it does not see my 2005 KJ.

I have been able to get every error code with 3 cycles of the ignition. No scanner needed. Thanks Mopar!

I don't know, because I don't have TPMS on my 2003 model,
but the app has a lot of features, and updates are free.

I have just one fault code, P0070, indicating a fault in the ambient air temperature sensor circuit; I clear it, but it comes back.
I need to replace that sensor.

I've had lots of faults. Usually they go away after checking, or go away on their own later. Or disconnect the battery for a bit to start fresh.

Cruise and the 'gas-cap' codes are common for me.

Maybe. Check the wiring and connections to it first.

'gas-cap' codes are common for me.

Only thing currently giving me the angries in my '07.

Its not very often. But between opening the gas cap now and then, and fillups, the light goes away again.

For about a year, swapping gas caps between the original and the one from my 01 cherokee, AND the new (non OEM) one I bought made the light and tone go away without even a brain wipe. Just a few starts. Stopped working a few months back. Got used to the permanent engine light, (just a little vap leak) cause it is quiet. GASCAP makes a noise, and flashes. PINHEADS. Fun little truck anyway!
