Just finally fixed mine on the wife's '02 KJ and thought I'd share it for my first post. It's easily found on this forum that the lamp socket is inexpensive and easy to replace. It's like $5 and change from RockAuto, Airtex part # 1P1822. However, when I unplugged the badly corroded socket from the harness, it was clear that one of the male ends had fused to the female end and broken off. So just replacing the socket wasn't going to fix it as the middle plug was fubar.
I could not find a factory part that just replaced the terminal end of the turn signal wiring. The only part number reference was the entire wiring harness that feeds the headlight, parking/turning light (+ sidemarker peanut) and fog lamp. That seemed excessive and expensive at $165 on eBay, then the additional headache of re-running the new harness wiring.
It wasn't intuitive to find the part, but you can replace just the turn signal end of the harness. Airtex part # 1P1824 ($49) is the male end that plugs into the replacement (or factory lamp socket). If you can cut wire (make note of what wires line up with connector(s) ) and splice it to the leads on the replacement terminal, you can fix it yourself. It's optional to solder, use a butt connector, shrink tube, etc. depending on what level you want to take it. Anyway, hope it helps someone someday.
