Doing two of my libbys this weekend with all Moog. 03 due to the youngest girl loves Mi pot holes the 07 my DD cause I just want new after the 4” lift. Did the wifes Trailblazer last weekend she likes Mi pot holes too. What's with Mi tossing a spoon full of black top fill in a 2' crater just to say we have a big campaign on pot holes. Spare me right in the rear ----- swing gate.

Do you have a part number for the daystar? Are the moog poly as well? My end links look about like yours do. I've been wanting to replace them. Did the daystars come with packets of the gorilla **** lube?

Do the new end links not have a dog-leg shape like original factory ones do, or do you just have it rotated 90 degrees in the pic? If not, how well do they fit onto the bar without having the jog towards the back?

I've got the end links positioned oddly in the pics, they are identical shape to oem. I believe they are rubber. Moog part#K7391. Daystar part#KJ05014BK, did come with a tube of something but i didn't use it.

So far ive notice no difference. Only 5min drive since though. More to report tomorrow

Might want to remove them and use it. They will eventually make hella noise without the lube, and prematurely wear out. We're your stock links banging around?

I think so. The reason i replaced it all is because A i could see they were worn out & B i get a bad loud thud coming of speed bumps. Thought that would solve my problem but no luck. Hoping its just really stiff struts that need to be broke in now....

When I replaced mine I didn't use any extra lube. Those things are slippery as it is. Anything else would just catch dirt and grind them to pieces. Had the same issue with pot holes but they seem to have broken in and are now nice and quiet.

"Struts" do not need broken in nor are they stiff
Now the springs and the fact you have a Frankenlift that is the reason for any stiff riding issues. You really have to twist them up good several times/days/weeks before they start breaking in.

Couple of questions.
What tools are used I see a size 18 socket but what else just a ratchet? Also I'm looking at my sway bar bushing and they don't look torn/ cracked and my sway bar links don't appear to be torn or loose. Can I remove them just to have a closer look?
Or would that do more harm then good?
My liberty has 156,000 give or take , and I don't know if previous owner ever had them replace.

I would say the more you play with it the more likely it will become worn out. Might as well replace while you have it apart if you have some change. Just sockets and ratchets.

Breaker bar and a good torque wrench along with those. Also if you are going to take the time to take it apart might as well put new ones in. Cheap and you will KNOW they are good!

Gotta rather large friend?

If so have him/her push/pull your KJ side to side(front end) while your underneath the front looking at the swaybar bushings and links.Any large movement(0.5mm or more) that opens up gaps between the bushing and bar is considered worn.

Chrysler minivans are known for this issue and can very easily see the bar move in the bushing when pushing the front ended side to side and in many cases will make a knocking sound(not always).

I will have him do that !
Another thing would you recommend that I purchase the bushings and sway bar links through JBA or amazon / eBay?
