Front hub removal

I have searched on this and come up with nothing. Removing the front hub (04 3.7 ) I have separated the hub from the steering knuckle but can't separate from the half shaft. Is their a seal or something that maybe sticking or some kinda trick to it.

Just slides through, splined sleeve
Usually just run the nut back on until level with threads and " lightly tap " with rubber mallet couple of times

Got it off bit not easily only took 4 hrs and a shit load of Inox damn thing was rusted in

They say necessity is the mother of invention well there isn't a shop around that was able to press out the LBJ and with no wheels to take it there anyway I had to get creative. Worked a charm 3 pumps of the handle and it popped.
