front bumper trimming...

I'm looking in doing some front bumper trimming. I want to trim anything below the red line.

When I look at the bottom of the bumper I saw some pins there that are holding the bumper. What will hold it in place at the bottom ???

Those of you who done some triming what have you done ??? just cut and that's it cause it seems the cover will be kinka flemsy , less stronger with less pins to hold it no ????

Just what will hold the bottom part of that piece down once you cut it the lower part off?

The pins hold the air dam on, which I cut off totally. There are screws that hold the bumper on down there, but it doesn't rattle or move around without them.
