Noticed one new noise (sounds driver's side ish) today after adjust the clevis more yesterday. When turning left, at the beginning of the turn, no noise, halfway through sounds like a tire is rubbing, turn the wheel more, no noise and then back to halfway there's noise. To test the tire rubbing on pinchweld theory, there was a clean spot on the pinchweld and some heavier scratches. Wiped it off, put a clean sheet of paper on each pinchweld. Tool it for a ride, came back and there are tire marks on the paper. Sounds like case closed. I jacked it up, took the front wheels off and spun the axles (was in 4FT) with the wheel turned and didn't hear anything- which leads me to believe it is a tire issue. The two things that don't support it being a tire issue is that it happens only in 4 full time and while tire rubbing would be a more constant, fast noise, this makes maybe 6 pops/knocks during the noisy period (halfway though a left turn). Any ideas?
Also I checked the torque on all the suspension stuff and axle nuts. The axle is a new Napa reman.Thanks.
