Factory Tow Package

I bought my Jeep used, it came with a class 3 Mopar receiver installed. How do I know if this was done by the PO or if my Liberty came with the tow package? It's a 2004 automatic 4x4. It appears there may be a trans cooler in front of my radiator, however I couldn't find any max load tags on the vehicle. Where am I missing it?

Can request a build sheet from Mopar.

Is there a wiring harness (plug) back there too? If it came with the tow package it should have a wiring connector and a clutch fan on the water pump in addition to the efan in the shroud.

Just the electric fan and a 4 prong wire harness for lights. No trailer brakes. So no tow package I take it. Thanks everyone.

Easy enough to add the mechanical fan and the shroud that surrounds it. You already have the transmission cooler (all V6 Libby's with a rare exception have the trans cooler) so the only thing missing is the extra fan and shroud. If you don't need a 7-pin for the extra power for the trailer and the wiring for installing a brake controller just stick with the 4-flat connector.

I decided to ask for my build sheet since I too am wondering if I have the tow package. This is the list they sent me, some interesting things... looks like it was a rental car... D'OH! How can it be that it only had 110,000 km on a 10-year old vehicle.
