door lock

hi all i am new on here so please be gentle,i dont know if this is in the correct forum even,i have a 2002 jeep cherokee 2.5 crd (GB) the drivers door will not remote lock or unlock you have to use the key all the others lock and unlock any ideas anyone

i have just noticed its not just the drivers door the rear passenger door on the same side does not work off the remote either,is there anything that both doors use such as a shared fuse or relay,it seems a bit odd that both door locks would fail at the same time
