D ring. Question.

Question. I just got my oem real hitch put on. Owner before me never got it done. I want to get a D ring for the hitch. Does anybody know what size D ring I will need.? Thanks for your KJ help.

I used a piece of 2" square stock about a foot long drilled a 3/4" hole for the shackle and a 5/8" hole to attach it into the hitch. The 3/4" shackle has a 2" inside width and a 15400 pound load rating.

Don't even need a d-ring really
Get a good strap, slide the end in the hitch, put the pin in and done

Thanks guys. I went to harbor freight. Got the whole set up for like 15.00$. I dont plan on pulling anthing so for the amount of time I will use the hitch this should be ok.
