I've seen in a few places that this is a potential mod, but what for? kopkrab.gif Will it give a lift, or more travel, or is it more rugged?

Anyone know?

People either do it to level out the Jeep so it won't look like it's going in head first, or to hold the weight of a heavy bumper. The springs are made to hold the weight of the heavier diesel engine.

Two questions...

If I'm getting a Rusty's 2.5" susp lift, would I be better off to get the CRD springs in lieu of the springs that come with the Rusty's?

If yes, then are the CRD springs direct replacements for the stock springs on a gasser or will I have to mod them or the Jeep?
