Crank or cam sensor problem

I have a 04 kj that is throughing a PO335 kind(crank sensor). I just replaced it with a new one and its doing the same the. It will run fine for about 10 to 15 min, then the check engin light will come on and it won't go above 2500 on the tack. it acts like it has a rev limiter at 2500. Its a 3.7 too.

Any help would be great.
