Not easy but could be done with a deep pocket book.Never buy a 1st year run of anything new in the automotive world, what for the 2nd+ year stuff after the real world finds the faults and they upgrade.Do you think it would be an easy swap to put into KJ's?

Like more then you'd want to spend, plus it would be at least 1 year before crate engines would be available anyway.Pff, that's true for everything. Buy nothing technology-wise first run/year. Always let the bleeding edge suckers work out the kinks, then benefit from their hard times.
Like, how deep?
Just remember the old saying..............

My KJ is the 2nd year production, the KJ started production in late Feb of '01 and my KJ was built end of Feb of '02,the start of the 2nd year run.Hey Troy.....what year is your KJ ..![]()

DOHC is not what you want in a Jeep, you want a OHV engine since DOHC engines are higher revving engines which severely lack low end power which a OHV engine does better in the low end department but worse on the high end.If you use your Jeep like a Jeep you want more low end power.

production never began with that kit, they killed the idea in the R&D stage when they blew up the engine. The 4.7 kit will not work on the 3.7.Kenne Bell had a supercharger (has been discontinued) for the Jeep Liberty 3.7 engine. The high piston rings in the 3.7L caused piston land weakness and failure, a problem that is correctable with forged pistons. Also, a 4.7L supercharger can be installed onto the 3.7, without issue, if a new tube and upgraded pistons are installed.

In 2005 the 3.7 had some changes done, one of them was rings.
