Hi folks,

I was searching through treads but didn't find any mention of these Chinese radios, and I would like to know if anybody tried them on? And what are the impressions? If not I suppose I will be a tester ;-)

TBH i just wouldn't buy any Chinese crap like that. It's made cheap to be cheap in my opinion.

Are you doing it because it's about the only choice for the 1.5 DIN mount? If so, look around because someone has come out with a Double-DIN adapter and bezel which looks pretty good.

I have one its ok and not to bad. Do I like it yes blue tooth and navigation with GPS is good radio is not the greatest i've had but fare. User manual ***** you'll have to figure out all the options it has and how to use them yourself. Now saying that hi quality radios are not some thing I'm that into but I like all th options this radio has. So rating 1-10 I'd say 6.5 there are a lot better radios out there but the install is vary friendly and its a lot better then the factory unit. Just spent my 2 cents so that's it.

Most of the stuff comes from China anyway

@profdlp
The 2 DIN adapter costs the same as the Chinese head unit ;-) Oh, and involves lot of cutting in order to fix 2 DIN unit...

@Porkchop
Thanks for the info, I think I will try... Can you let me know which one you own, I have posted two links... Not so much interested in GPS as I have Garmin installed, but what I am interested in mostly, is the ability to play music from SD card or iPod/iPhone... As you say, not the best, in the past I had full Alpine modular, multi amplified system setup, complete with electronic crossover and all other bits, but these days even a bit of crappier sound will suffice on long trips... And on top of it, Chinese head unit costs somewhere in the range of the 2 DIN adapter (piece of plastic) or the iPod adapter for the factory radio (again, very simple device with two connectors)...
