I have had many projects to complete and finally got a lot done this past week-end. So here are some pics of my KJ before....Just about 5 years ago
The new pics are from this past week.

Here is what I did with the $70

1. Night Shades for all the lights ( I have knight rider envy)
2. Dupli-color for all the rims ( 1 coat Primer, 2 coats flat black, 3 coats of clear
3. Spray on bed-liner for all the wheel wells
4. Painted shift lever bezel with krylon plastic spray paint
5. Camouflage paint on Differential cover and rear tow hook (clevis purchased from budke, thanks)

Above and beyond the $70

1. Installed cb finally (no more yelling)
2. Ordered firestick jamb bracket ($25) on line...
3. Bought whip antenna from a flying J truck stop ($15)
4. My Dad bought me the small CB for father's day
5. De-Badged

Only a few items left for a while....

1. Paint the bumpers and flares (VHT bumper paint)
2. Paint the antenna mount and re-paint the front grill with chrysler color match paint
3. New lugs

Thanks....You can paint just about anything if you do it right. When you say hub caps, are they actual plastic caps? If so, might as well try it.

Clean
Sand with 320 grit
Use primer specific for plastic
Paint with product specific for plastic
Should be good...Not as easy as it may look though.

Yeah, we were at ONF in April. Your KJ looks way better now in the pics with the mods you did. Really awesome difference I think.

Looks good!
Don't try tinting the headlight here in OH, that would be a ticket.
Not even the taillights. You need to show some red reflector and white.

Also for your niteshades how did you get it so glossy??
I have issues doing mine where it never comes out with a high gloss....

Most any parts store has the VHT Nite Shades yes that is the correct spelling
Its a spray one like paint, do very light coats and it will come out great! Only takes two or three light coats to cover good
Just ask for it, same thing I have used on all of mine
