Going to do this very soon. Got a list here of everything I'm going to get. Opinions, gripes, complaints?

7 32oz bottles of Castrol ATF+4 for Transmission, Transfer Case, and Power Steering.

4 1qt bottles of Valvoline High Performance 85w140 for Front and Rear Differentials.

5 1qt bottles of Mobil1 5w30 for Engine Oil

Do you tow a lot? There's a different recommended oil for the rear if you don't tow.

PS - Dif fluid STINKS. Oh and make sure you have an oil pump for it. (At least for the front)

I used to do my own trans fluid but it only changes half the fluid. I go and have a trans flush done. Changes 100% of the fluid. I used to do them at STS tire and auto...

I use the same weight gear oil in both diffs. I don't tow with it, but for the amount of offroad use mine sees, it's fine. It's for that same reason that I use the heavier use maintenance schedule in the back of the manual... even though I don't tow.

And I'm going to be changing both diff fluids and tcase fluids soon enough, castrol atf +4 in the tcase and Peak in the diffs. If you don't have a siphon for the rear your gonna have to take off the cover to drain it, the front has a drain plug.

I plan on taking the cover off anyway, so I can get a good look at the inside and make sure everything looks to be in good condition. I'm at around 94k now

I'd do coolant every 5yrs or 100,000 what ever comes first. Keep it clean and the heater core hot I also check the cap. Airs a killer for long life antifreeze.

You are correct in that impression.

85w-140 non-syn gear oil is far better for all apps then any synthetic gear is.

Interesting recommendation since Chrysler does spec 75w-140 synthetic for the front diff, and also for the rear in towing/offroad applications...
