When I needed my rear 4 hockey pucks, I went to a used Sporting good store that had used one's that had been played on the ice.
I figured the Jeep would be happy, knowing the lift parts with pucks, were now going out to play also.

Sale Starting Dec 17th, 2015!

Heads up on a good deal. Just got the Canadian Tire flyer for a sale starting December 17th (Thursday). These sawhorses are going on sale from $54.99 to $11.99 (In AB for sure). That is 75% off and they look solid. They fold up and have a 300lb load capacity. Most reviews are good asides from some clowns and a guy who feels they are a chore to unfold...

I will be picking up two for my self and a couple for the father in-law for xmas.

First off I originally posted this in the wrong thread yesterday where it did not belong and was completely out of context. I don't know how it happened but it did, this is where it belongs. Bert

Haha Ya! First review quoted: some people I'll tell ya:shrug:

" I purchased two of these 3 years ago. I still have them.
pros :
-lightweight
-sturdy
-good height
- can be folded and does not occupy much space while in storage
cons :
- chore to fold and unfold
- supposed to be able to fold them in stacks of 2, but again, it's a chore
- not really stable (it will wobble when you work on these)
These are good, but they are not great. In fact, I was so annoyed to use them that I purchased 2 plastic sawhorses. Ever since I got the plasctic ones, I don't use them anymore. "

I've bought atleast 4 sets of these saw horses for various things around the garage when working on refinishing wood projects. If you kick the legs once you've got weight on them they are stable, just takes a little adjustment on a level floor.

They also can take more then 300 lbs once you do the above. Currently have a 30 inch wide 8 foot long of 2x4 birch laminated to the 4 inch face as a work surface with 200 lbs of tool chests on top. They don't move when you put that much weight on it and make sure its stable.

I have one for my 55lbs thrust trolling motor pulling my Sun Dolphin 120.
Can fish for a couple of days and still lot of juice left.
At 15 amps charge they are done in a few hours.
I've got 2 of the older wet type also and after the first 2 years they only take about 70% charge.

anybody tried the Ultra XD AGM batteries they now carry. Looks like the Northstar casings, anybody confirm the manufacturer?

Nautilus Group 31 Pure Lead AGM Deep Cycle Battery | Canadian Tire

NorthStar Marine and RV Ultra High Performance Batteries - 99.9% Pure Lead AGM Plate Technology
The blue Ultra that have is an EXIDE. The Grey cased XD is a NothStar as far as I know.
Just look for identical or matching battery cases. Your links do look like a positive match.
Both are good batteries but the XD will be the top of line AGM. They may even switch suppliers is the near future again...??

Interesting to note that no air leak once connected, without compressor running.
Looks like this compressor is staying in the Jeep.
