Can a steering wheel from a KK be swapped in?

I looked all over google and cannot find any info on this. Am I the first person to ask? I can't be! Or not even from a kk but just a newer wheel from any Chrysler product line

Short answer no. Usually with a body style change they change the way the computers talk and that includes changing the generation of airbag, sometimes also changing the way the wheel mounts. According to the SRT engineers, it can't be done on the LX/LC platform (most of us with first gen LX's would love to have the wheel out of a newer one) or Ram (02-08 are swappable but not retrofit from an 09+). KJ to KK involved total platform redesign and jump to CAN bus.
