Bypass Filter Worth it?

I have a '08 KK and have already discovered the annoyance of changing the oil. I am already considering getting a remote oil filter and was wondering whether it would be worth it to get the "Bypass" version. I've heard how it can filter smaller impurities and such, but is it really worth it?

What is everyone's thoughts on the bypass filter system?

Routing the hoses would not be fun in a KK and usually does reduce oil pressure also.
