Brake light is ON

I was just driving around the city this afternoon when I I parked my KJ on a parking lot and noticed that the brake licht on the instrument panel is on.

I had just asked the dealer to program a suplicate sentry key yesterday.

Also, I am in the process of installing an EVIC but I have not yet spliced any wires.

What could have I done that made this?

Your brake fluid may be low,meaning you need brakes or your parking brake is not all the way down.

parking brake is all the way down as it can get... Will check on the fluid now..
