I have a2012 jeep Liberty sport. When you turn the key on but don't start the MIL light flashers 10 times, then just stays lit If you start the vehicle the light goes out.
Also, the Electronic throttle control (TPMS) light stays on a few seconds more after the other lights go out, with the key on but not started.
Any Ideas what is going on? I did have the battery disconnected overnight and on the charger.
My Problems all started when I was trying to sell the Liberty. I was showing the buyer how tho put the transfer case in neutral and the battery went dead. I didn't start it up to make sure it went into neutral, about half an hour later the buyer was going to drive it wouldn't start, the dash lights started flashing then nothing. The buyer left, said to let him know when I get it figure out. I checked the voltage
and it was at 5 volts.
