I blew out the front drive shaft on my Liberty, has anyone replaced theirs? Where did you buy it from and how much did it end up costing?

Got my replaced by Dealership under the 7/70K powertrain warranty for the $100 deductible cause I didn't have the time to replace one myself.

I had a new CV end (rear portion) put on my old driveshaft for under $150 by a driveline shop in town.

Nice ThunderbirdJunkie! I'll have to look into having that done by them with my spare driveshaft.

Yessir you will.

FWIW
ThunderbirdJunkie asked "So what should be done about the front?" "Maaaaaaaaaaan we've seen so many Liberty front driveshafts and have never had to replace the front, so just do the back"

Would've been an easy extra $200 for them to say "OH GOD YEAH YOU'LL DIE IF YOU DON'T DO THAT"
