O/S/F gets a whine going around 50mph - doesn't change when you move the steering side to side to load the bearing, there isn't any play or noise if you spin it.

Did read somewhere that it could be caused by the tyre and changing the wheels around might cure it? Not tried it yet to be honest, just wondered if anyone had a similar experience?

For note - the tyre wear is pretty even as they are reasonably new, changed them all about a year ago.

If you haven't rotated your tires in while do that first. Its cheap. Usually between $12-$20 bucks at a local garage or if you got the tools then it's free. About every 3500-4000 miles my tires start to make a whine/ whomp noise starting @ 50mph and many people think I have a bad bearing but after the rotation It's all quiet again.

When my wife's 02 KJ had a bad bearing I head more of a grind/roar vs a whine.
