After 11 years the OEM ground pad was toast. You can still buy the Mopar felt pads.

I just replaced the battery in my daughters car (original factory one lasted 6 years). 3 bucks at Waldomart bought a package of 2 terminal pads and a little spray can of battery terminal protectant schmootz.
