Ball stud

I've had a ball stud break off at the rear glass.Any ideas how I can fix this?

Other threads regarding this subject recommend new hatch glass.

My shaved-down grease fitting replacement for the ball stud is still holding strong after a year and half. (See Link in post above)

For what I expected to just be a temporary fix that I'd have to go over with JB Weld or something, I'm incredibly happy with how it turned out.

Guess I should have not been so lazy. I only searched rear glass, but not ball-stud.
