Rusty's site advises against ARB installation in the dana 30 front due to possible case failure. Has any one experienced this and if not lockers, then what else? (Aeh)

i have heard the same thing but that was for my cj and yj. i lot of it has to do with the fact the d30 just doesn't have the strength to handle being locked. at least this is the case for me running 33's and 35's. now on a kj i guess it would depend on the tire size and how hard you run it.

the D30 in the KJ is aluminum unlike other jeeps with the D30, thats why they advise you not to use the front ARB. Check out the LOST forums, specifically the west guys -- from what I recall there have been about half a dozen front diff failures in their group.
