Anyone plastic dip there rims

my rims are a bit rysty so im thinking of plastic spraying them im just woundering if anyone here has done this.

If they are starting to rust best way is too sand down and paint.
Plastidip is not really a good cover over rust it will flake off in no time

Did mine and they have held up quite well. Mine were not rusty, though, so what Tom said applies. Whatever you do to them, get the rust off first.

Looks bad on stock steelies IMO. Just sand and paint them.

Don't be afraid to get a little dirty now. It's a jeep. Show it some love.

sounds good yours look pretty good there the same steel rims as mine.

Its all in the prep work to get the wheels painted. The more time you spend getting all of the rust and grim off and prep the better the paint should hold up over time.

Paint holds up far longer than PlastiDip does really
I've used it when I want to see what something looks like that color, easy on, fairly easy off. But for wheels I still go for a full on , good prep and finish paint job.
For example tried it on a bumper ( steel) lasted a while but ended up redoing it all

what kind of paint would i use if i did not want to use plastic dip.
