Anyone know what the front diff of a WK is?

I'm on a mission to solve the Dana 30a problem potential in my KJ. I've heard the WK front diff is more stout, but that is all I've heard. No info on if it is a 30a also or something completely different. I just came upon this pic, & it sure looks like iron to me! Any one know?

It IS iron. I can't remember which though.

Sweet! =D> I need to figure out how to get this thing in the KJ. :-k If we can get 33"+ tires, and a locker uder a KJ, without blowing anything up, then even a 3" lift can be respectable. \/

Even if the diff doesnt blow up, I dont think youre going to be able to fit 33s on without doing something really serious, such as an SFA...

Maybe not, but after seeing what Jeepin' Al has done with his, combined with the complexity & cost of a SFA conversion, I think this is worth consideration.
