I have looked through 15-20 different forums and have found lots and am just looking for some confirmation. When upgrading the cooling system of a 2006 KJ Sport it's best to go with the Chrysler 11 blade nylon Radiator #52079654AD probably going to go with the Dorman version. Then for the Fan clutch, the brand Hayden is the best first I found that model 2905 was the best but then found that it may only be for the CRD so then I found the #2736 was the one for the 3.7L V6's. Does anyone know if this is right?

I don't know what's right but I have some vague memories from here and LOST. CRD owners in cold climates sometimes take the clutch fan off. I think one mod was to use the fan from the 3.7 since it has more blades(?). I think there's a GM flexible plastic fan that gets used.

I used to have a CRD before my 3.7. The Hayden fan clutch and stock CRD 5 blade metal fan fit on a 3.7 with the towing package fan shroud.

Do you remember what model the Fan clutch was? That's what I'm trying to get at. Thanks

Got some scrambled, partial info from LOST.

Hayden #2905 fan clutch 195°
oem Hayden #.?. fan clutch 220°
Mopar fan #52079654AE (more airflow under 3500 rpm)(stock CRD setup flows more air above 3500 rpm)

And the Hayden fan clutch for a Chevy 6.0 v8 truck allows use of a Hayden severe duty fan clutch, for a CRD.

Maybe this helps? I'll look for a number on my crd fan clutch next time I stoke the fire.

Here are the numbers from my '05 crd fan clutch... #3C14F2 and #55037733AD

My 5 bladed metal fan is #0046 stamped into the hub plate and #52079727AA on the blades.
