anyone got their jeep painted flat black?

im really considering painting mine flat black, but want to see what it looks like first if possible.

Three people have done that now - Digger, Fulltimer, and yodetj02. They can be found over on LOST too.

farecla makes a "flatting kit", basically compund and polish to take the shine off of the clear...the company site is fareclainc.com

i would satin black a liberty before i went flat black any day. but rhino line is the way to go

I would satin black, suede, flat black before I'd Line-X / Rhino Line or any of those

Yeah save yourself some $$$ and buy some 600 grit sandpaper because that will do the same thing.Sanding the clearcoat off will damage the base coat as the base coat was never intended to be exposed to the elements and last,plus it would look like crap.

^^yeah, I have seen Fulltimer's in person when we wheeled in ONF and I think it looks awesome.
